| 英文描述 | POROCEHPHALUS CROTALI is a pentastomid, a class of parasites with characteristics of arthropods. It is related to LINGUATULA, a parasite of the canine nasopharynx. P. CROTALI is usually found in snakes, but was diagnosed in a dog with an abdominal mass and ascites. The encysted larval form of the parasite had lined the abdominal and visceral surfaces of the abdomen. There were increased eosinophils in abdominal fluid. Dx at surgery. |
